Centre of Entrepreneurial Development & Graduate Marketability (CEM) was established on January 25, 2013, and consists of nine (9) staff members, including three (3) Management & Professional (M&P) staff and five (5) Executive staff.
The center is divided into three (3) sections:
(1) Administration and Finance Section
(2) Entrepreneurial Development Section
(3) Graduate Employability Section
The center was established to develop entrepreneurial and career activities for students more systematically and holistically to enhance graduates' employability.
CEM implements two (2) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the Vice-Chancellor, as stipulated by the Minister of Higher Education:
(1) The percentage of UPM graduates' employability every year.

The local and global industries are among the key stakeholders of the University. The University requires collaboration with the industry as potential employers of UPM graduates. The industry can offer services such as general training placements, industrial training, and job offers to UPM graduates.
Job Opportunities for UPM Graduates
