Serdang, 6 March 2025 – The Centre for Entrepreneurial Development and Graduate Marketability (CEM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), successfully conducted a Data Analytics and Dashboard Workshop, led by UPM’s Chief Digital Officer (CDO), Professor Ts. Dr. Nurfadhlina Mohd Sharef, in collaboration with the team from the Information and Communication Development Centre (iDEC).
The workshop is part of UPM’s ongoing efforts to foster a data-driven and policy-focused culture, which forms the foundation of the university’s digital transformation agenda. This initiative also supports the realisation of UPM’s “True North” aspiration, through the strategic strengthening of data and policy frameworks in graduate employability.

According to the organisers, the main objective of the workshop was to enhance participants’ understanding and technical competency in utilising data analytics and dashboard tools. These tools are essential in monitoring and managing graduate marketability performance and in shaping effective, data-informed decision-making at the institutional level.
CEM staff and iDEC technical experts took part in the session, which included briefings, live demonstrations, and interactive discussions on dashboard development, system integration, and strategic application of real-time data for better outcomes in student and graduate development.

This initiative reflects UPM’s strong commitment to digital excellence across both administrative and academic domains, in alignment with its mission to become a globally recognised, innovative university.
CEM extends its heartfelt appreciation to the CDO and the iDEC team for their valuable support and contribution to the success of this workshop.
