KUALA LUMPUR, 15 AUG 2019 - The Centre of Entrepreneurial Development and Graduate Marketability (CEM) has visited the National Library of Malaysia (PNM). The visit consists of 8 CEM staffs including 2 officers. The purpose of the visit was to obtain resources for reference and guidance in developing reading corner in CEM to support the Read@Uni agenda set out by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) where it aims to produce reading culture not only among students but also UPM staffs themselves. The main objective of the visit was to develop a reading corner in CEM that incorporates the digital elements as practiced by PNM.

It was during this visit that it became apparent to us that the digital concept practiced in PNM was of great interest and was able to increase the knowledge of digital collections which can be used for free by the public. The concept of digital is very relevant to today's technology modernization.

Encik Wan Rozaini bin Wan Ibrahim as the Deputy Director of Advisor Board and Legislation, PNM has provided a number of inputs on the needs, guidance and advices to develop the reading corner. The visit ended with the exchange of souvernirs from CEM and PNM.
