Serdang, February 9, 2025 – The Division of Admissions and Academic Governance, along with the Center of Entrepreneurship Development and Graduate Marketability (CEM) at UPM, in collaboration with the Parent-Teacher Association and the Parent Support Group of Sekolah Menengah Sains Gua Musang (GUAMSS), organized the Putra Bakti Program - Acromial Knowledge Workshop 2.0.

The program aims to assist 80 GUAMSS students in enhancing their performance in preparation for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination 2025.

The Head of the Division of Admissions and Academic Governance, Besek Intan Zafina Basok, stated that the program is designed to help students achieve excellent results in the SPM through exposure to systematic and well-planned strategies and exam-answering techniques.

"UPM is pleased to contribute to the community, especially SMS Gua Musang, by organizing this educational program in collaboration with various entities to provide exposure to examination answering techniques, especially for SPM core and elective subjects.

"Additionally, the program includes motivational activities to boost students' spirit in facing this critical examination in their lives."

The workshop is conducted by experienced educators in various fields such as History, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Additional Mathematics. Students also receive motivation and career pathway preparation from UPM experts.

Ludinata bin Misnun, The Deputy Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship Development and Graduate Employability (CEM) at UPM, who is also a Certified Image Consultant, stated that he shared the best self-presentation techniques since students are in Form 4 so that it can be practiced before they complete their schooling.

"I emphasized the importance of maintaining self-fitness through a clean, healthy appearance and possessing the best personality.

"I am optimistic that this can open students' minds to prepare with the best appearance in preparation for scholarship interviews after the SPM results are announced," he said.

Besides learning sessions, the workshop also includes a tour around UPM and various other activities to ensure a fun and effective learning experience. Participants demonstrated high commitment throughout the program.

The program is also hoped to help increase the percentage of students who excel and pass in the upcoming SPM examination, thereby improving the school's performance - CEM.
