Kuala Lumpur, 22 April 2025 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) received the ‘Employers’ Choice Award 2025’ from Talentbank during the award ceremony and Talentbank 2025 Hari Raya open house at EQ Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, today.

The award was accepted by Associate Professor Dr. Hizmawati Madzin, Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Graduate Employability (CEM), on behalf of UPM’s Vice-Chancellor.

UPM was recognised as one of Malaysia’s leading universities in producing highly skilled graduates who meet industry demands for 2025.

Dr. Hizmawati, speaking after the award ceremony, said, UPM is proud to be recognised as a university that produces graduates highly sought after by industries. This means our graduates possess high-quality skills.

The award acknowledges the outstanding contributions of higher education institutions in producing graduates relevant to industry needs.

According to Talentbank, the selection of winners was based on the institution’s excellence in graduate employability, industry collaboration, and ability to produce holistic graduates for local and global markets.

Established in 2010, Talentbank is a key player in Malaysia’s talent ecosystem, offering career matching platforms, career fairs, employability assessments, and job placement services to bridge the gap between employers and job candidates - CEM.
