CURRENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MySISWA@JoC PROGRAM

Students must be Malaysian citizens with an active status at the University at the diploma level and above.
Students must have a “Good” academic standing/status.
Students with “Warning” or “Probation” status may be considered for participation in the MySISWA@JoC Program, subject to obtaining written approval, together with reasonable justification and grounds, from the Head of the student’s PTJ (Responsibility Centre/Department).
Students must not have any illness or medical condition that may interfere with assigned duties or adversely affect their health.
Students must not have any familial relationship with any UPM officer at the assigned workplace.
Students are required to maintain the confidentiality of any information obtained during the course of their duties and shall not disclose such information to the public.
Students acknowledge and agree to the terms of the MySISWA@JoC Program, which state that, while performing assigned duties, students shall not be deemed employees of UPM, and UPM shall not be deemed the employer of the students.
Students may apply to terminate their participation in this program by providing two (2) working days’ notice to the PTJ to which they are assigned. The respective PTJ also reserves the right to terminate the student’s participation in the MySISWA@JoC Program at any time by giving two (2) working days’ notice.
Students who successfully obtain employment through the MySISWA@JoC Program shall be referred to as “TRAINEES”.
The appointing PTJ shall provide a copy of the trainee’s part-time employment offer letter to CEM via email.
Trainees shall be paid wages according to the following rates:
RM6.00 per hour for a maximum of 20 hours per week during the academic semester;
RM6.00 per hour for a maximum of 40 hours per week, not exceeding 8 hours per day, during semester breaks;
The PTJ shall bear any additional payment if the PTJ wishes to pay more than RM6.00 per hour.
Trainees shall submit claims for payment for work performed on a weekly/monthly basis to the PTJ where the trainee is assigned. The PTJ shall submit the payment claim documents to the Centre for Entrepreneurial Development and Graduate Marketability (CEM), UPM.
For payment claims, the following documents must be submitted:

Student Service Program Payment Claim Form (SOK/KEW/BR034/BYR)
Trainee Attendance Record
Copy of Identity Card
Copy of Bank Account Statement
Trainees acknowledge and agree that the right to wage payment is subject to UPM’s approval, and UPM reserves the right to deduct any portion of the wages for the settlement of any outstanding debts.
The MySISWA@JoC Program includes service/task payments to UPM students (diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate Malaysian students for NON-RESEARCH purposes), including payments for:
Administration and Operations (Clerical Work / Data Management / Documentation / Operational Support / etc.)
