Career counseling refers to the assistance provided to students to help them make decisions related to their career paths.

Career counseling can be provided by career experts/ coach or career counselors. The main purpose of career counseling is to help individuals understand their potential, interests, values, and strengths, and how these factors relate to suitable career choices.

Career experts/ coach or career counselors typically use various assessment tools such as career interest tests, personality assessments, and interviews to help individuals assess themselves and explore appropriate career opportunities. They can also provide information about the job market, industry trends, as well as the skills and qualifications required for various jobs.

Career counseling may also include skill development, resume writing, job interview training, and advice on long-term career development. It helps individuals make better decisions regarding education and training, guiding them in planning and achieving their career goals.
