Guided by the tagline “The First Step Starts Here”, CEM offers a wide range of strategic initiatives designed to support students in starting, managing, and scaling their businesses in a structured and sustainable manner.

Comprehensive Support for Student Entrepreneurs

Among the key services provided by CEM are the Siswapreneur Startupbiz and Advanced Siswapreneur programmes, which equip students with early exposure to entrepreneurship—from idea generation to execution and business management fundamentals. Students may also benefit from business consultation services, offering practical guidance to address real-world operational challenges.

In addition, CEM facilitates applications for on-campus business premises, rental of entrepreneurship equipment, and participation through the UPM Student Entrepreneurship Cooperative (KOSISWA UPM). To further strengthen engagement and networking, students are encouraged to join the Uniputra Entrepreneurship Club (UEC) as a platform for leadership development and entrepreneurial talent building.

Registration, Programmes, and Financial Assistance

To ease students’ transition into formal business operations, CEM provides free company registration with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM). Students are also given opportunities to participate in entrepreneurship programmes at national and international levels, expanding their exposure and professional networks.

In terms of financial support, CEM offers microfinancing loans ranging from RM300 to RM5,000, enabling students to kick-start their ventures with minimal financial burden.
