SERDANG, January 21, 2024 – Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Graduate Employability (CEM), Associate Professor Dr. Mass Hareeza Ali, has successfully clinched the Triple E Award (Entrepreneurship & Engagement Excellent Award in Higher Education) in the Top 5 Entrepreneurial Leader of The Year for Asia-Pacific category at the award ceremony held in Barcelona, Spain, on June 26-29, 2023.

"Alhamdulillah, I am grateful for this victory. Moreover, I appreciate the unwavering support from all parties, including CEM staff, the School of Business and Economics (SPE), stakeholders, and UPM students.

"Their support has been the driving force propelling me to achieve success after success. My heartfelt thanks to all," said Associate Professor Dr. Mass Hareeza.

According to him, the success achieved is not solely his own but the result of the hard work of all staff who have tirelessly ensured that CEM successfully achieves all desired goals.

"This success will mark the beginning of CEM's excellence in achieving many successes in the future, especially in developing students into successful entrepreneurs," he added.

He, who is also a senior lecturer at SPE, presented a research paper at the Triple Helix Conference held concurrently. The conference themed "Entrepreneurial and engaged universities for sustainable development: linking education, research, and innovation to the United Nations' sustainability goals."

The Triple E Award is organized by the Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU). Comprising world-leading experts, ACEEU has designed the world's first accreditation at the institutional level, allowing universities to be recognized for their excellence in entrepreneurship and engagement. - CEM.
