SERDANG, 15th March 2024 – The PENA @ CEM Series 3 Workshop on News Writing and Media Statements was held here today.

The program, conducted by the Deputy Director of the Center of Entrepreneurial Development and Graduate Marketability (CEM), Ludinata bin Misnun, successfully attracted the interest of all CEM staff to attend such an internal training program.

CEM Director, Associate Prof. Dr. Mass Hareeza Ali @ Hamid, said the program aims for all CEM staff to master the art of writing newspaper and magazine-style news that can be directly published on the CEM website and social media.

"CEM indeed has many programs with high visibility value for publication. We hope that all staff will be able to write news with the correct techniques after this," she said.

Meanwhile, program participant Nursazila Maulat Mohd Sani said the 25 news writing techniques provided by the speaker were very easy to understand.

"It turns out that news writing practiced by commercial media practitioners is not as difficult as it seems," she added.

The PENA @ CEM Workshop is a series of internal training organized by CEM to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of staff in their careers.
