Bintulu, 5 August 2023 - The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Graduate Employability (CEM) in collaboration with Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus has organised the StartupBiz@CEM Studentpreneur Programme on 5 & 6 August 2023 at UPM Bintulu Campus.

This program is a program that provides exposure to students at an early stage in entrepreneurship and makes entrepreneurship a career option after graduation. A total of 60 students from 3 institutes of study participated in this program, namely students from UPM Bintulu Campus, Polytechnic Mukah and Bintulu Vocational College. Programme participants were given exposure on the importance of entrepreneurship, digital marketing, business plan, innovation and creativity and others.

The two-day Startupbiz@CEM  Studentpreneur Programme was officiated by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Shahrul Razid Sarbini, Director of Campus, UPM Bintulu Campus.
CEM Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mass Hareeza Ali said the program can provide exposure and education on entrepreneurship at an early stage and can naturally arouse students' interest in entrepreneurship.

"My hope from the Startupbiz Studentpreneur Programme is to produce many successful entrepreneurs among students through the collaboration between CEM and UPM Bintulu Campus", he added.
