SERDANG, 12 February - PENA Workshop @CEM Series 1, News and Press Statement Writing Workshop was held for the first time on 12 February 2021 via online at CISCO WEBEX today.

The program was conducted by the Deputy Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship Development and Graduate Marketability (CEM), Ludinata bin Misnun. He has successfully attracted the interest of everyone in CEM whom firstly attended such an internal training program.

Director of CEM, Associate Prof. Dr. Mass Hareeza Ali @ Hamid said, this program aims for CEM staff to master the style of writing newspaper and magazine which can be directly published on CEM website and social media.

“CEM has many programs that have a high visibility value. We hope upon this, all staff will be able to use the right technique to write news easily", she said.

Meanwhile, program participant, Ahmad Fauzi Abu Bakar said, the 25 news writing techniques given by the speakers are very easy to understand.

"Apparently, writing news that is practised by commercial media practitioners is not that difficult," he added.

This PENA @CEM Workshop is a series of internal training organized by CEM to increase the knowledge, skills and competencies of staff for their careers.
