The Selangor State ANGKASA Office and the Malaysian National Co-operative Movement Berhad (AGKASA) have successfully organized the New Co-operative Briefing and Induction Course 2019 which included a number of selected co-operatives around the state of Selangor on February 8 and 9 2019 at Seri Malaysia Genting Highland Hotel.

 

The program which includes more than 42 co-operatives with participation of 80 people was officiated by the President of ANGKASA, Dato Haji Abdul Fattah Abdullah with the closing ceremony officiated by the Vice President of ANGKASA, Tuan Haji Mohamad Azmi Omaruddin.

 

The course aims to provide exposure to more systematic corporate management, Description of Member's Right to Responsibilities as well as the Development of Business Strategic Plans. The President also delivered the speech on behalf of YB Dato' Mohd Redzuan Md. Yusof, Minister of Entrepreneur Development to strengthen the co-operative business through logistic operations and provide a more significant impact on the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) with a projection of RM5.5 bilion in revenue through the co-operative movement in Malaysia. 

 

Koperasi Keusahawanan Siswa Universiti Putra Malaysia Berhad (KOSISWA UPM) has sent Nor Iskandar Bin Jaafar as a representative to represent the co-operative body.
