SERDANG, March 8 – The UPM HIRE platform is a platform that offers services or part-time work to students aimed at seizing the opportunity to offer the expertise services they have in obtaining additional finance throughout their studies.

Director of CEM, Assoc. Prof. Dr Mass Hareeza Ali said at the moment more than 500 UPM communities have followed the whatsapp application group where on average they are bargaining for any opportunities and needs available.

"The existence of this whatsapp application group is felt to be very helpful for students in using the skills they have from different backgrounds in helping to earn additional income throughout their studies", he says.

He added that today's students are exposed to the use of various applications to improve their skills while helping them earn ancillary income.

The UPM HIRE program is an initiative implemented by the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Graduate Employability (CEM) in helping students and the internal community of UPM to use their skills and earn ancillary income during their studies.
