SUBANG JAYA, November 28, 2024 – Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has once again made history by being selected as one of the winners at The Talentbank 7th Graduates’ Choice of Employer Award (GCA) 2025 in the category of Best Public Higher Education Institution. The prestigious event took place on November 27, 2024, at Sunway Resort Hotel.

The award was received by Associate Professor Dr. Hizmawati Madzin, Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Development and Graduate Employability (CEM), who represented the UPM Vice-Chancellor.

This recognition affirms UPM’s success as one of the most sought-after brands by graduates to begin their careers in 2025. The evaluation was based on a survey conducted by Talentbank among students from higher education institutions across Malaysia.

In an interview following the ceremony, Dr. Hizmawati remarked that GCA 2025 serves as an important reference for graduates and job seekers, acting as a guide to help them choose employers from among Malaysia’s leading companies and institutions.

“We are grateful that UPM has once again received this recognition, marking the third consecutive win since our first victory at the 5th edition in 2023,” she stated.

The selection, determined through student votes, reflects UPM’s continued commitment to providing world-class education and fostering a conducive learning environment for students to thrive.
