Johor Bharu, 20  October - Once again UPM has achieved success when Muhammad Hafidz Bin Shahril Izwan from the Faculty of Agriculture won the 3rd place 'Business Award' in conjunction with the 'Competition For Potentially Excellent & Talents Entrepreneurs' (COMPETE 2022) with a sales turnover of RM47,00 0.00  During the two (2) months the competition took place. Muhammad Hafidz who is now a year 1 student runs a shirt printing business and is the founder of MHSI Resources.

The national level entrepreneurship competition involving 100 entries from IPTA, Community College & Polytechnic students was organised by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). 2 UPM students represented the COMPETE 2022 competition, namely Muhammad Hafidz himself and Farah Haifa Binti Mohamad Fairus the founder of Farahfairus Beauty.

Muhammad Hafidz is now a year 1 student from the Faculty of Agriculture and started his business while in the Foundation of Agricultural Sciences studies  . He said "This competition is the best platform for me to find networking in business as I can meet entrepreneurs from all over Malaysia. We exchanged ideas in promoting products during this competition "

The Closing Ceremony & Presentation of Prizes was presented by Puan Norisma Binti Mohd Ismail, Under Secretary, Strategic Planning Division, Ministry of Higher Education at Amari Hotel Johor Bharu.
