Purpose of EKSA

This guide was produced to assist all the staff of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in supporting the implementation of EKSA to create a conducive working environment that is corporate, creative and innovates with the application of green sustainability practices.  This guide clarifies the concept of EKSA which is the rebranding of 5S practices, actions to be taken at each stage of implementation, the auditing methods adopted, the qualifications and conditions that must be complied with in order to obtain internal recognition or EKSA MAMPU certification. This guide is in line with the University's intention to implement comprehensive green sustainability activities/programs throughout the UPM campus to support the UI-Green Metric Rating.
